any info on were to grab tach signal for remote start. tried injectors no ac voltage present also checked at coils there are three wires on coil, one RED / one black /and one which is different on each one and smaller in gauge. There was no ac voltage at coils either .the only wire I did not check is on the cam position sensor which has 2 wires.I talked to volvo and they stated that the vehicle will never start consistently due to the ecmu reseting itself each and every time it starts. I tried setting a long start time but still does not always start. I checked with several tech departments none could help. so I am asking has any one hooked up a remote start on this particular car and if so ,were did they get the tach signal or ac voltage at.This is a five cyld gas auto 1999 volvo c70 convert.and no there is not a blue wire on any of the coils or even in that area. the only ac voltage I got was .437mv and increased to .888 mv @ 3000 rpm's it should have been around 3 volts @ those kind of rpm's.
