I have a 92 Honda accord sedan DX

In the trunk, there are a couple of rubber plugs
1 really grabs my attention.
I was just wondering if my ground location is a good or bad idea

The hole extends to the bottom frame

My idea was to cover the hole with a circular metal on top. Run a bolt through the middle down to the hole in the frame. Secure it with a bolt nut on the bottom of the frame.

Will it matter if I use copper flashing in stack(layers) as the plate, and solder them together?

Or it doesn't matter what type of metal I will use as a plate?
Thx

Honestly I would never make my ground as you just described.  I'd rather use that hole to run my ground through it and ground it straight to the chassis under the car.
