Hello all, I am fairly new to the car alarm scene. When ever I get an alarm installed, its the weak 10 tone alarm that is very annoying and not very loud at all.
Most new cars come with the standard alarm that sounds like the horn going off.
My questions is how can I get an alarm that sounds like my horn is being pressed, and not the weak multi-tone alarm that only scares away cats and dogs horn alarm? - Last Post -- posted image.
What should I look for, or if there are any particular names for this type of alarm, what should I ask an installer?
thanks for the input. The car is a 2001 Honda Accord LX 4 cylinder.

most alarms come with a *horn honk* out put, and it connects directly to your car horn.  you can also purchace airhorns,  depending on the psi. after market airhorns can get pretty loud as well.

life is a comedy to think, a tragedy to feel
