I tried to put a overhead monitor in a 2006 Pacifica, and hook it up to the 6 DVD changer in the dash. The changer has 3 rcas on the front of it. I get audio but no video. The Dealership says that this is due to the fact that the rca jacks are inputs, not outputs. The customer wants to run the overhead monitor off of the dvd player in the dash so he can control everything for his kids. Does anyone know a solution for this? Thanks in advance,

Chances are that the stock unit does not have a video output and that the factory jacks on the front are indeed input lines. This means that a enterprising installer (or a repair shop) should be able to take the unit apart and tap into the factory video wiring and make a video output to run the secondary screen.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

there is no primary video. I dont think there is just going to be some output jacks on the back. But that is just my opinion. Just trying to figure this out before i have the customer in here again.

pull the dvd out, I believe the molex diagram is on the unit. Simply grab the outputs and run to your overhead. This will void the elctrical warranty on your radio and dvd, it's the price you pay...
