Kicker KX800.2 and 1 Kicker DVC 4 Ohm Sub. According to sub wiring diagrams i can only wire this DVC 4 ohm sub into either 2 ohm or 8 ohm. How would i hook that up to this amp?

2 x 200W @ 4 ohms (13.8V - 0.085% THD)

2 x 400W @ 2 ohms (13.8V - 0.2% THD)

1 x 800W @ 4 ohms bridged (13.8V - 0.4% THD) - This way? How many watts would be getting to speaker?

2 x 295W @ 4 ohms (Dynamic - 14.4V)

2 x 420W @ 2 ohms (Dynamic - 14.4V)

1 x 840W @ 4 ohms bridged (Dynamic - 14.4V)

S/N Ratio: >95 dB (A-weighted at rated power)

Freq. Response: 20Hz ~ 20kHz (+0/-1 dB)

Fuse: 3 x 40A

Dimensions: 25.75" x 10.13" x 2.5" (65.4cm x 25.7cm x 6.4cm)

Manufactured in 2002

The amp isn't stable at 2ohms bridged. You'll need to connect it at 8 ohms bridged, or you can connect one coil bridged, but that's another can of worms we need not get into again. lol.

If I traded 2 kicker 4 OHM 12" CVR's for a 4 OHM 12" Kicker CVX.....would that be a good trade. im trying to make more room in my trunk but try to keep the same sound

no replacement for displacement. You're gonna lose bass.

Yea ive read that post....we dont need to get into that again.....

How do i short a coil, if i was to connect one coil bridged?

hook each voice coil up to one channel apiece. run at 2 ohm stereo.....

you can do it....

So 750/2 = 375 a coil.

The speaker is 4 ohm. So according to the amp specs, if i ran each coil to a channel then i would get 200 from each channel?

2 x 200W @ 4 ohms (13.8V - 0.085% THD)?

How do i get this with a single 4 ohm coil? How would i wire to go 2 ohm stereo?

Can someone please tell me if im about to hook this up right. I dont wanna f*ck anything up.

The speaker is rated at 750 rms, its a 4 ohm DVC. So i assume each coil has about 375.

If i hook up a coil to each channel then i will get roughly 400 a coil correct and be running 2 ohm stereo?
