Say, DYohn? How's the linearity on those things? I'm SERIOUSLY considering a pair to replace the Titanics (MKI) in my home system...
I'm certain they'll be better, but really... How MUCH better? 300 dollars better? I have 2.2 cubes, sealed, and an Adcom GFA565/MKII.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

How much better depends on what you're looking for.  Much lower distortion and better linearity below 50Hz, but probably not as much SPL at the same power level.  I've never used one of the Mk1 Titanic's, but I dumped a MkIII in favor of the Shiva after a side-by-side comparison because of lower audible distortion.  The Shiva's motor is a little noisier.

Here's the appliucation note.

Maybe one in the car, too... I always have like the Shiva SPECS, but I can't say I actually heard one.
