Mods please add this to vehicle wiring.
In order to get the power lock and unlock you need to go into the door panel where the module is. Do not forget to get the screw that is behind the handle. There is a small plate that will just pop off and then the screw is behind it.
Once you take the door panel off, place it on a clean surface.
Remove the climate control shroud.
Then take a small awl or screw driver and pry up the black cover to the module.
All of the wire harnesses should be disconnected.
Once you get the cover off, you should see the circuit board.
There are 2 boards.
Carefully lift the top one off the bottom.
There was a previous post that said you needed to connect the wire to pins 3 and 4. You DO NOT have too.
With the angeled part of the board to your body, there are 2 plugs. I am not sure of the number of wires but there is 1 red and the rest are black in both plugs. The plug closest to your body is the one you want.
Unlock is a single pulse on the 3rd black wire closest to you.
Lock is a single pulse on the 4th black wire closest to you.
You can drill a small hole in the door lock module so that you can put everything back together again.
There is a grommet below the driver door harness that you can easily fish through from the driver kick.
Any Qs, feel free to PM me
