Yes it is a lot of work but however you are ther 2 put in a safety wire for the owner or next mech with his hands in it, Are you not?Plus with all of the new DATA Ecms, Bcms, and DATA based clusters you can get into trouble. And Yes 2010 clusters from GM (also toyota, Chrysler if around, ford(look in mustang pass kick all of which are designed by Delphi)are slated to be Data, I can tell you this due not only am I part of the install club but i'm a founder right out of CTC and  plant 10 at Delphi corparation in Kokomo In. where I install with engineering staff and this is the only sound point that cannot effect the vehicales ignition system in a unsafe back feed manner.
Scott's the name moble electronics is the game.
Remember to stick it before you kick it.
Get your mind right use your
MULTIMETER!!!!!!!!!!!
