i need help installing dei XK01 doorlock interface to an 03 chevy suburban. i just installed it and i'm having problems programming it. the brown wire should go to ground while running wire from alarm but alarm doesn't have one. orange wire is disarm poutput. would this be the wire that goes to start kill relay from alarm? please help. the alarm is a spy 2-way alarm with remotre start. remote start is not being connected. thanks in advance.

You don't need the brown wire for programming. That just disarms the oem security before remote start - but seeing that you're not doing remote start....don't connect anywhere.

The instructions are confusing so re-read them several times before programming.

the disarm output is what you would connect to the cars disarm wire if the XK01 doesn't disarm thru data. Shouldn't be necessary on this vehicle.

Northstart.....or start it your damn self.

XK01 is being difficult to program. wiring is correct. its not working the way it should. please anyone help. i need it to get to type four.

To program the xk01 for mode 4, unplug the module and plug it back in while holding the button. then, press the button a few times so that led flashes 4 times. press and hold the button till it flashes once. when you let it go, the light will come on. Start the truck with the key, and it should flash a few times and then go out.
