07 saturn ion, door locks

im trying to the power door lock s to work but it seems that i cant not get it wrigth this is what i did i put my wire to lock direct - and my unkock wire with my resister and it those not work it only work lock cant any body help me with this

1. Have you already used the search feature here?
2. What kind of remote starter?
3. Does the remote starter have reversing polarity (+/-) doorlock outputs, or just negative outputs?

i try to work on it againg i saw that to open the door lock u need to push the button twice to lock and ones to unlock so i think that i need a alarm that has double lock pulse and the alarm im using does not have double pulse lock so i think that my alarm is the problem

double pulse "LOCK"? are you testing this with the doors open? try closing the doors and then try it.

i did try with the door close and same think  it takes to push the button two times two close and one time to open and thats pushing the button in the car

are you using relays? you need to send the negative pulse through relays on this vehicle if your unit does not have them built in.

got to thinking about this and well........are you pulling my leg?? you mean to tell me that if your sitting inside your car with the keys in your hand and the doors closed you have to push the lock button twice before the doors will lock? dude........cmon, i wasnt born yesterday.
