My bass remote cable got ripped out of my amp. I bought some new 8pin plugs for it but i dont know the order of the wires.

So im asking if a few hifonics amp owners can look at the plug end of the bass remote cable and give me the color order.

from left to right. clip on back side.

id re-run the whole cable. i think you can use an 8 pin telephone jack cable for that control pretty cheaply.  try radio shack  . id also look at the controller for a specific order, that may help.

Every bass knob or strapping cable I have seen are wired unlike a phone cable.  Following are the difference between the phone type cable and a strapping cable for a Planet Audio or Power Acoustic class d amplifier.  I have not checked a Hifonics bass knob cable yet.  I would find out before you attempt to make a new cable.  I just do not want you to go and buy a phone cable, it may or may not be catastrophic to the amp. I have heard of people burning amps up by using a phone cable.

Saw a guy a few days ago fry a EPX2 by using a
phone cable between the controller and the brain.
Turns out he needed a bridge cable.
He's paying for it now!
Know for sure, don't guess!

looks like a crossover cat5e cable for networking..... you would think there is some kind of standard, why would the company go and alter an already existing cable type?
im speaking out my ass however, i have no idea how they work, hell ive never even seen one before. im just throwing out a guess based on the diagram above.
looks like the poster is describing a crossover cable.

A Crossover cable for CAT5 has only two of the 8 connections crossed over. Do not try a crossover cable on it either.
Bottom of this page is a picture of the cable
If you have the ability to snag the picture, snag-it or windows vista snipping tool, you may be able to zoom in on it and see the colors of the second end of the cable.

ive used 5 and 8 pin conductor telecable/ cat5a  without any issues with the hifonics amps . i deal with alot of broken bass control knobs for those particular amps and havent had any issues or comebacks about them. if you look at it they're not bridged they just dont have a pin to the conductor it just supports a an 8pin conductor. but try everything else out i suppose.

okay so i looked at a hifonics 1606 here at the store . i remember using a modular telejack line to combine the controls of three amps in to one control knob using the BT-120-8 (ul listing i think) modular jack wire without any issue, given you are using the knobs with the jack on rear side of its case .also the colors you indicated match the colors on this cable as well but that may be coincidence.
