Hello...

I am new member to 12 volt forum, and i just had one simple question. i recently hooked up a autopage remote start system to a 2000 monte carlo, everything works fine the locks work and the shock sensor, everything. My question is this...why wont the car start? i hooked up the 6 wire pin harness to the wires it called for and the car will still not start. It activates and everything and i used my power probe to see if it was sending the signal to start and it is, it just wont start..any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx

did you bypass the passlock system? if so how or what module did you use?

Well according to 12 volt i dont need a passlock immobilzer...however that did cross my mind...i believe the correct module is the 555L or 555T...correct me if im wrong..

PLJX - it's a passlock 2 car.

555l would be fine just make sure you bypass the passlock other wise the car will cracnk but wount turn over
