I appreciate the recommendation on the eclipse HU, but I think you got a little off topic from my OP. Obvioulsy I do not want to rip the entire unit out, attempt to sell it at a huge loss, then start all over again with another model. Also, the Kenwood has Garmin NAV, which is one of the best. Anyways, my OP was about how I might be able to improve my SQ on the Kenwood HU, I didn't think it would be so noticable between the two units. Anyways again, thank you to the people who answered the OP with their input.
