I have an 04 Aveo with factory alarm and keyless entry and I have hooked up a R/S. The start is a Bulldog RS-82. The car starts fine and runs the problem is the factory remote wont work when the car is running is there something I can do to get the factory remote to work to unlock the doors? I have searched thought the forums and could not find any thing about this.

Just hook up the keyless entry feature from the Bulldog system instead. That was you only have one remote control and better range than the OEM one.

Many vehicles key fob won't operate when the vehicle is running like Toyotas and Hondas. No way to make this one work either.

All you need to do is remove the center console and cut the pink wire going to the anti-theft control module. Tape both ends up so they don't short anywhere and your key fob will work.

I would recommend using a relay driven by GWA, to accomplish the circuit de-activation. This way it still operates as intended, while the R/S is in-active.

You should be able to hook the RS82 up to the lock motor wire and remote start the car with the factory door lock fob,but not sure if this will solve the problem.

Thanks, Kim
