When hard wiring, how did you perform the installation for door lock/unlock?
Ideal - cmon dude, add to topics in a useful manner, not stuff that is obvious.
Story - Phzzzt! Hey, what happened?! ... Isn't it obvious?
Moral - Never dismiss the obvious.

So yesterday got everything working jumped in to drive it out of the shop, got about 10 feet and it quit.

Long story short seems half the computer fried, lights work, heater works, fuel pump does not work, and wont turn over the mechanic thinks some sort of power surge might have killed it.

Now someone at the shop disconnected the knee airbag with the battery hooked up, then reconnected it when i was done. could this be the problem. Or could it be from the data or me wizing around with the locks using resistors. It did start with the keys before the airbag was reconnected. I had no shorts while installing the unit, no issues except for the locks.

Any advice would be appreaciated

The airbag shouldn't keep it from running and driving. Might get an airbag light on the dash if you start the car with it disconnected, but that's all.
The small red dot in the car's dashboard for the Sentry key, what's it doing when you try to start the car with the key?
Is it coming on steady and then going out (like it's supposed to,) or is it flashing?

The securety light comes on and stays on. Like i said the mechanic seems to think it was some sort of power surge
