2000 tacoma, viper 5901

Hi, I read your post and i have a question to you. I just install the same Viper 5901 alarm on my 2002 Tacoma and my parking lights don't flash when i arm or disarm. I solder the H1/11 White wire to the Violet/red from the steering column, I test this wire applying ground with a test light and the parking lights activate. The parking lights work fine using the headlight switch. Where do you hook yours? My other question is if you had to program your module to Automatic in order to use the start remote features? I will appreciate your help.Jay V

If the wire activates when you apply ground to it, then it's negative, on the brain you just have to slot the parking light fuse across the the negative terminal, and voila!commit your way to jehovah and he will act in your behalf. psalms 37:5

I try that on the positive side of the parking lights and nothing, is driving me crazy something that should be one of the easiest steps. the alarm chirp like it suppose to do but no lights.Jay V
