what is the right way to run two batteries in a car?

thats a pretty broad question, like....how long is a piece of string?. there are several ways to run multiple batteries in a vehicle depending on what you are trying to do, the current and voltage needs. by "amp power?" do you mean amps as in current? or an audio amplifier?
