The delay I was talking about is with the remote start sequence itself - DEI remote start systems turn the ignition on, then wait a few seconds, then start the car - there is definately a delay in the start up of their systems.

Correct...I don't use the remote starter in a typical sense, however, I do have the bypass module (not installed)...I think in my setup, using that would seriously compromise the cars security...

Yeah, there is a few seconds for the DEI to start...gives me time to buckle up! :)
