hey im building box and im not sure if the port is included in the total box size. i have one 12 inch L7. im building it per kickers spects at 3.25 cf.  now i calculated the port taking .33 cf of airspace.  so should i build the box at 3.25 + .33 = 3.57 cf or is the port airspace already accounted for so i should build the box 3.25cf. how big shoud i build the box? 3.57 cf or 3.25cf.  thanks

Yes, include the displacement of the port and your bracing (and the woofer) if you want the enclosure size to be correct.
