Does that vehicle have an amplified antenna that gets it's power through the power antenna lead? Is there a blue wire on the antenna adapter? Have you tried an aftermarket antenna just to make sure your radio is working?
Quick enough?

yea some of these cars need the amplified antenna adapter, however some that say they do need it actually work worse with them and call for a normal antenna adapter. plus depending on the car.it might have two similar slots on the plug that plugs into the radio,. the anteanna adapter will for sure plug into one and lock, But what i have also found is the second one makes it work better, In order to use that one just cut off the tab on the tip of the antenna adapter then it will slide into the second hole.
tape it up and your good to go.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
