Helpful Info:
Car 1997 BMW M3 Coupe
Fuses: Checked, all in tact
Alarm: Viper 791xv (remote start not enabled)
I was working on some interior stuff in my car late last night (some wiring, but nothing remotely close to the ignition. For some reason, the car will not even attempt to turn over.
I thought the battery may have died since I had the lights on while I was working. So I charged the car for a good 30 minutes. The car still would not start. It won't attempt to turn over. The air, double din, lights, everything works just fine. It's almost like the ignition just isn't making a connection, but the accessory or "on" key positions work fine.
All other remote functions work just fine.
Any Ideas? Thank you in advance

Is there an alarm outfitted with starter kill?   Possible that you knocked a wire off the starter kill relay?

Ign wire light green, starter either light GREEN/ black or black with a secondary colour. Trace them from the ignition out.

Car won't turn over? Try a forklift but it's rough on the paint.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

Before you try the forklift, go to youtube and search for   FUNNY Racing Pit Stop Milwaukee Cordless Drill Commercial   Much easier than a forklift.
