have a viper 5601 hooked up trunk release wire to a relay for trunk release soloenid it does not work with remote when i press aux button when i touch release wire to ground it works ok so wireing to relay is ok is there something in the programing witch makes it work cant seem to find anything in manual any one know please

Are you using the RED / white from harness 1? Also, you need to press and hold the aux button for at least 5 seconds before it sends the signal.

hi thanks for the reply yes i used the RED / wht wire and yes im holding the aux button for 5 seconds still dont work i checked the cricuit if i touch a ground wire to it it works ok seems like control is not giving ground do u know if programing can affect that thank you

thanks for the help b.d. i found the problem i wired it wrong i was to lazy to take the harness i made apart but i had to and i found what i did wrong thanks for your help
