Im building a sub box designed by pwk. Im looking at the blueprints and i must be stupid!! There are 3 measurements that i need help with it says 4.14" 4.19" and 4.12" Wondering if anyone knows what i need to cut the pieces to since its in metric or tenths or whatever Any help would greatly be appericated

4 and 1/8 inch = 4.125 4 and 3/16 = 4.1875

Thank you for your help i greatly appericate it.

I have one more question wondering should i put fiberglass resin on the inside of the encloser or not to seal up the seams

You can if you want. It will only help so doing it is always a plus. If you have some resin laying around or if you just want to improve the enclosure then go for it.

Or just go a little thick with the glue. That is what binds the wood together more so then the nails. Then just run some extra sealiant along the inside. With the expense of resin I try and save it when possible.

Just do something

i use hot glue to seal boxes if i dont have liquid nails. hot glue works awesome because you can also mock up the box with it without using any screws so if you notice a mistake you can catch it before you drill any holes

hot glue would not hold with the big spl boxes might work with the smaller boxes for maybe Sq but after hitting over 140db the hot glue will give and the box will come apart. Been there done that. I would use the power grip glue or liquid nail or gorilla glue works too.

Can't be loud then don't have it.
