1991 toyota camry's not holding the speed

The speed control will not hold a set speed. It slowly loses speed over several miles. Any idea?

I am in no way a Cruise Control guy...But had a vacuum leak in one car...replaced line and worked fine...Another car was diagnosed w/ low compression(motor was tired).
