Im trying to settle a debate that glass can look good but is it at the expense of sound? (Particularly with sub enclosures)

If built right fiberglass is just as good as wood.

i built a glass box once and it was ok. i sprayed some dynamat spray inside and i did notice a diffrence. besides who really cares? i mean, if it sounds good to YOU and YOU like the way it looks then that is important right? of corse some freinds may/will hate on you and to them what they got ,it is always beter then what you got. it is a pride issue.

Interesting. For some reason Im finding difficulty believing that the show systems are great representation of sound because the better it looks, the worse it sounds.(TO ME) Especially systems that seal a trunk from the car interior. I love it when someone goes out of their way to port into the interior from a trunk enclosure or the bed of a pickup.
