Hello everyone,

I've been considering switching things up a bit with my setup and would like to hear some opinions. I'm sure there are some folks on here that have experience with both.  I currently have a JL 1000/1 powering 2 type R 12s and a 300/4 for my mids.  I have heard alot of good things about the pdx series but I want to know if it would be worth the time/money/effort to make the switch.  I would be getting a pdx 1.1000 and probably a 4.150.  All other things equal which setup would make more power, which would have better SQ?

Alpine = Ice Power
JL = Not Ice Power.
Both are very good amps. The Alpine is more efficient.
