Planet is a GREAT bang for buck total line up.

I was a rep for their line 3 years ago, and have sold it ever since.

And please do not think that this is the reason for the rave review.... I sold it for years before.

I know an old installer who loves plant audio.
The big bang subs can handle double the rms rated power all day with clean power.
Good amps..I like them.

one of my installers has a pair of Planet 18" woofers that absolutley pound. I've actually got them wired up to an old Alpine radio and amp in my shop and it I absolutly love it.

just to throw an objective view in...
i would recommend Powerbass. i had never heard of them until i tried them. let me say, i was pleasantly suprised. i've used them alot lately and have been very impressed. especially with their mid and upper line of subs. and, the amps deliver plenty of power as well. however, i haven't used them for a long time, so i do not know about how well they hold up over time.
oh, and i've also sold the heck outta them!

Planet Audio really stands behind their product. They offer very long warranties and pretty much cover anything for us. Just stay away from their head units. Although they offer a 3 year warranty, almost all of them that we've sold have come back time and again with problems. But their speakers, subs and amps are good performers for their price range.

i just started working for a new shop in my area and we are selling planet audio. dont know how they really sell yet, but in my opinion from just looking at what we have they are definitely worth buying. good quality product and the price is right so you cant go wrong. personally i have heard of them years ago but never really knew they had head units so that might say something about their radios. like someone else said, you might want to stay away from their radios.

thanks for the quick replies. planet audio at present is not imported into australia but one of my suppliers is in talks with them.
i am mainly looking at their subs / amps as an entry level product as our market is flooded the all the usual brands.
once again thanks for your help and i should also post up a few of our install pics
cheers scott
