It is very simple to raise the rear seat about 3 inches.  All it takes is 4 bolts and (4) 3 inch bolt couplers a size larger than the bolts.  The back of the seat will still latch into the hooks on the rear wall of the truck.  You will be surprized at what the extra 3 inches of height will allow you to put in there.  Interested?  I will try to find the post with the instructions for you.Let's Go Brandon Brown. If you could raise the seats that would be golden. Problem is where to put all the components. I would reserve every last inch of that space for the enclosure. How many of what kind of amps are you going to add?This is what I do for FUN!

I've done a fiberglass enclosure for that truck under the back seats. I don't really have any specific tips because it was all pretty straightforward. I would highly recommend trying to raise the seats like said above, though. There is so little room that having a few inches extra would have really been great for the build I did. When I made an enclosure for that truck I made a piece out of MDF that sat all around where the bottom of the little storage thing was. It was like a little 1" thick border (made out of 3/4" MDF) that went around the lip of the bottom storage thing. Then when I fiberlgass I was able to simply attach the material to the border.

Ya, I glassed under the seats on that truck too. I didnt raise the seats but still got better sound then the custom box. The box for the center console isnt too bad. Then again, I added some braces and re-faced the whole baffle side of the down-firing sub. One truck we used the custom center console prefab box for the amps. Expensive amp rack, but after putting it in with a access door in the rear, it was aight..This is what I do for FUN!
