relay for disabling drl

I drive a 09 corolla s. I've read in other forums that the DRL (Daytime running lights) can be disabled and fog lights be wired independently by cutting a couple wires. What Im wanting to do is have a relay connected to have DRL enabled/disabled by means of a switch. The relay will also turn off the lights once the key is out of the ignition (Instead of hearing a beep if its accidently left on). Can anyone tell me if the diagram below would work for this? The fogs can be switched on independently if white wire is grounded. the DRL is disabled if the switch is flipped off. Oh, and in case you guys kick up a fuss about why I would want DRL off, its because I drive to a military base once in a while and i am required to turn off all my lights when entering.

Check to make sure your white wire has ground when active. A slight change I would do is just run ground to 86 only and connect the other side of the white wire to 30. Then cap off 87a (if present). 

00+ Corolla's electronics are figity when it comes alterations and many are mean if even a bit off with wiring resulting in a blown comp.

As a safety bit I would also drop the fuse to 5 amps (or if you have any available 2amps) The less energy bouncing around the electronics should a failure happen, the better.

actually... now that I am awake, you shouldn't even need to intercept the white wire. With the DRL on a switch, the lights should be disabled as well. Sorry about thatNever send your ducks to eagle school.
