I have a 07 escape coming in on thursday. At bypass kit it says you can use canmax400, xk04 which is what im familar with or xk05.

now i have not used this canmax before not sure how it work anyone have any info on this or should i stick to what i know.

I just had my first, and hopefully last experience with a canmax 400 the other day. Had to do an 05 acura TL, and I spent more time on the bypass, then I did on the remote start install. Even had to call tech support, which was no help at all. Could of just been a fluke thing, or maybe I'm just stupid. Ended up throwing in an Idatalink ads-al ca, and had the car running within 15 minutes. On Ford stuff, I love the Fortin Keyoveride-all.....so easy, I could train one of my dogs to do it.

Well i looked up fortin looks good, do you only use these on fords or on all vehicals

I've used them mostly of Ford, and Toyota, but have also used them on Honda, Acura, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda. Xpresskit also makes a similar module called the PKALL, but I haven't had very good luck with it on some Ford products. Can't get the module to program sometimes, and I'll go grab a keyoveride-all, and it programs right away.
