please help, i just installed the autopage 420 two way alarm on 04 chevy silverado. i used the xk01 interface. car locks and unlocks whenever it wants. im about to give up. hooked up oem alarm disarm to xk01 and door triggers also. what can be wrong. when i ground pulse the xk01 to lock and unlock, it works all the time except when i use alarm. also when i arm, the courtesy lamps flash. im starting to think its the alarm thats not good. used to alarm modules already. 2 xk01 and two pie interfaces. dont know what to do. please anyone, HELP!

The post was kinda hard to follow...But most autopage systems have + and - door lock outputs...Either use some relays and convert to negative...or some diodes in-line from the 420...This is more common for dodges...But if you can just give it a ground pulse and it unlocks...Im guessing the + and - from the 420 is your problem...

I wasnt talking about the ground...Rather the output of the 420's door locks...Maybe i didnt follow what you said...But i think you said that if you apply a ground signal to the xk01 door lock inputs ...the doors lock/unlock fine...But when it is attached to the 420...It doesnt work...Or works sometimes...? Having to replace that many items makes it seem like installer error...rather then faulty equipment! Hence the relays or diodes...!
