I just bought a new car (2000 buick lesabre) i have a massive audio p3000.1 amplifier, and 2 re mx 12 inch subs. I was wondering if i purchace a big battery, or possibly 2, such as the kinetik khc2400 would i still need to upgrade the alternator?

The short answer is yes. Adding a second battery will actually make your situation worse as your stock alternator will have to charge 2 batteries instead of one. All power comes from your alternator, a battery is just a means of storing power, it cannot magically create power as many think. Look into upgrading your big3 as well as a high output alternator..

Maybe not your "Average" car audio shop......I would go to a muffler shop or a welder or maybe a body shop to have the bracket made.
