We wanted to add a traditional LED (status) to the Viper 5902. Does anyone know which output we would use. I didn't see one for this (yes we know were the other built-in LED is). Would we need to buy some kind of a flashing module so the LED would blink? Thanks.

Radio Shack sells a 12 volt flashing LED.    Your alarm should have a wire labeled GWA (ground output when armed)  It will probably be connected to the starter kill relay also.  Connect the new LED to a constant power source, and the GWA wire.

Actually we already bought/installed the viper LED.
Is there an inexpensive way to make it flash when the alarm is armed?

Be different - don't be like others - do not lose sight of YOUR aim.
If they have those components, they probably have flashing LEDs too.
Not only will that halve the cost, but it reduces volume by about a cubic inch.
Of course, if you want to construct, blow-up, reconstruct etc, go ahead.
