just need to know if I can hook up my horn instead of the siren on a audiovox/prestige APS25N security/keyless system?

anyone have a wiring diagram for the unit?

Is that the more basic unit that has a single button to do arm/disarm? If so, no, it does not have a horn output.

I think if you look around the Relays section of this site, there maybe be some way to do it...well, there is always a way. But it's probably more work than installing the siren.

Audiovox siren wire is WHITE/ black, and the horn wire (if they have it) is BLACK/ white. If you don't have a BLACK/ white, you don't have a horn wire.

No, it has a seperate button for lock/unlock/trunk.

I know I can wire it up with a relay but I'd rather not. This is going in a older muscle car so thats why I dont want a siren chirping.

I wish I had access to the install manual...

Most AVOX products you can simply turn the chirps off by turning key on, then off, then press the valet button 3 times....
