as mentioned, the flex relay is only required if oyuhave more than one ignition or acc wire.

are you uncertain how it is wired up?

yes i am uncertain. im thinking about just riping the old autostart wires out n starting over new.

CAR                                                                                                                             ALARM

Battery (+): WHT + IGNITION HARNESS                                                 3 Heavy Gauge red Wires and one small gauged wire out of alarm

Starter 1: BLK/WHT + IGNITION HARNESS                                              cut wire Gree goes to key side and Purple car side
Ignition 1A(+): BLK/YEL IGNITION HARNESS                                          Pink
Ignition 2A(+): BLK/RED + IGNITION HARNESS                                     Pink and white
Accessory (+): WHT/RED + IGNITION HARNESS                                     orange
Tach Sensor: BLU AC AT CONNECTOR NEXT TO BATTERY            Violet dont need if you program arlar to voltage
Door Trigger: GRN/RED DRIVERS KICK PANEL                                     - trigger Green wire main harness
Trunk Trigger: BLU/BLK - DRIVERS KICK PANEL                                    Red and white main harness
Parking Lights: RED / BLK + TO RIGHT OF STEERING COLUMN          White main harness
Headlights: BLU/RED - AT HEADLIGHT SWITCH                                     NC
Pwr Door Lock: WHT/BLU - DRIVERS FUSE PANEL                                 locks are blue and green wires two pin harness

  Brake White and blue                                                                                                                                              Brown wire Brake wire on brake pedal switch.

                                                                                                                                       Black and white wire make sure you ground it. it goes to a switch to turn of the remote start but that alarm should come with a switch that plugs in with a switch.

For your 556uw hook red to 12v black ground and blue to blue and white status wire on alarm.

hooked the wires up exactly (triple checked) as you said but it wouldnt even start with the key

If it doesn't start with the key, then something is definitely wrong! Did you plug in the ingition harness? have you interrupted the starter wire? It couldn't be the transponder becuse it would have still cranked, just never turning over!
