2009 patroit/chrysler multiplex issue

I have everything working with just one issue. The car starts and runs fine using the remote or works fine regular. The issue is when I have the car running on the remote start and put the key in and turn it to the ON position (not start) The heater blower, windshield wipers and a few other things quit working until I put my foot on the brake which disengages the remote start allowing everything to go back to normal. What I figure is happening is that the bypass module is essentially supplying the 560 ohms to the mux wire to make the ignition stay on that the ignition switch normally would. When I turn the key to the on position the ignition switch supplies another 560 ohms to the circuit which makes the accessories stop working until the remote is disengaged. Is there a way to fix this? If not is this hurting anything? I could always just disengage the remote and restart the car but it does not seem like I should have to.

what bypass are you using might be able to put a relay in to cut the circuit from the key-side until you step on the brake

The Bypass Module is a PKUCH2X it seemed as that was all I needed since I did not have power locks or anything else.

is it version ha1 or h2 and has the mux wire been cut, if it not that version then its not cut.

Your exactly right on why it happens. You could leave it alone or you could cut the plex wire between the switch and your connection and add a relay controlled by your statis wire. This will stop it from seeing two separate resisted values at the same time....Mike M2

Thanks to those that helped I cut the mux wire and wired it threw the bypass as I had the h2 version that required that. everything works correctly now the only thing that bothers me is that if the bypass should fail it would seem that I won't be able to start the car. Do I at least get a "B" for effort and the fact I got this far on my very first remote start install?
