I have been installing for years.. but this is my first time doing one of these modules,its on A 04 silverado (with factory keyless entry) from what I understand.. this unit will lock/unlock , arm/diarm , turn on dome light and bypass the pass key system for remote start.... correct ??? and not to use the three pin connector on the 457 unless its a caddilac ????

so the 457gw controls everything, including the passkey system, for remote start ! through this violet data wire ????

i also have a 456gw .. will this unit also bypass the passkey system , for remote start?? I really dont see alot of specifics in these manuals for these things !!!!!

I have never seen a 456GW but the 457GW works great very easy to install and programs first time every time. just use the 457GW

a 456G will not do the Passlock, only the locks.
