hey guys sorry if this has been answered, my question is i have a radio with a dvd display, i hooked the brake wire to ground, but i get no display on the screen i get audio but no video only if i press the menu button i get video but then it goes away, any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

Some units are smart enough to see that you have improperly bypassed the safety feature. Connect it to the parking brake wire.

hey thanks for the advice, after going to the audio section i found out that its illegal to do this, well i knew it was illegal but i wanted to do it, but thanks to this site i though about it and no it not worth the ticket, plus this way i get used to it and any custumers that want this i will tell them no, hey thanks again.
