Has anyone installed a remote start on a 2009 Mitsubishi lancer. My main concern is about programming the transponder bypass which requires a dealer scan tool.
I will be using Fortins TBMITS 2 and iam wondering if OBD2 scan tools can do the same.
Thanks

If it's a Canadian-market car, you'll need to go to the dealer, yes.
(U.S. market Mitisubishis 2003-up allow you to program it yourself if you have two good keys.)
You might call some local locksmiths, and see if they have the necessary equipment to program the part for you.
