You have a factory alarm.  Remote starting the car without turning off the alarm will set off the alarm.  Unlocking the doors first will turn off the alarm.

If you send the GWR signal to the cars Keysense wire, it will turn off the alarm without unlocking the doors.  If you are already using the Bulldogs' GWR signal for the bypass, you must diode isloate.

Soldering is fun!

I think it's either BLACK / YELLOW or BLACK/ white coming from a separate plug on the ignition switch barrel, neg. going and wire exactly as Kreg says. As a brand Toyota/Lexus appear to need key sense to disable the factory alarm more than any other manufacturer.
Bulldog site is very good but like all the others it mistakes. We pros can check limited access sites, I'm sure if I remember that DEI for instance addresses the key sense issue.
P.S. I just looked at the Bulldog site. As an example they list tach on the engine management (or obviously an injector etc.) silly, waste of time, actually also a thin black with silver dots, OBD ll diagnostic plug, just like a late BMW, right under the inst. panel where you are working anyway.

Keysense should be a Blue (-) wire coming off the ignition switch.  Test with the bulldog probe while inserting & removing the key in the ignition.

The Tach signal Howie mentioned is usually at the OBD II connector pin 9.

If you are using the Bulldog's GWR output for both the Keysense and the bypass, get some 1N4001 diodes at RadioShack and place in the wire run to each connection with the band towards the R/S.

R/S = Remote Start    In your case the Bulldog assy.

You will need two diodes.  The Bulldogs GWR wire will split with one wire going to the cars Keysense wire and the other wire going to the bypass module.  Place the diodes in the wires going to the Keysense and the bypass module.  This will prevent the cars Keysense wire from turning on the bypass module when you place the key in the ignition switch.

Soldering is fun!
