One sentence of advice...DON'T! You're installing a piece of Chinese rubbish to an 11 year old Transit diesel van that's probably gone round the clock at least once, you're wasting your time and money, also no competent installer would touch it because it's probably auto only and your vehicle is a manual. If you do you will need an ignition by-pass and a tach sensor.

The damn thing sells for $60 retail and shares it's circuit diagramme with the dreaded Gordion! also uses oil pressure switch for tach, need I say more?

60 retail?

sooo $60 subtract the 45% dealer pricing so 41bucks!?

maybe i should stock up on a few and install these instead lol, then blow my brains out from the headaches after the first install.

Yes but align that with the age and possible condition of the vehicle, remember this is Europe's largest selling white van, been around in different models since the 1960s,slightly smaller than a Sprinter and I'm sick of needing tetanus shots after working on any of these over 2 years old.

A customer asked me to install his basic AVITAL alarm I said no problem. Showed up at his house and it is an AOLIN alarm. Apparently he couldnt read. Well, I was there and reluctantly installed it. No different then any other alarm except the AOLIN sucks, takes forever to program and seems to be super low quality

Ah topinstaller, it actually worked? I remember working outside in Florida, lived in Ft Lauderdale 80-83, ah the big outside jobs and the sunburn!
