how to know the min and max air space

use a divider.-A vision without a plan is just a hallucination-

ok so make a box that will have about 2.1 cu/ft of air space put divider in the middle and completely seal every gap seam on it when running the cables from the subs to the amp best is just not make a hole big enoigh for the speaker wire to run thur and seal that as well from the inside as well? what kind of screws will be the best to use for that?
