Do you have an aftermarket security system installed?
Was the remote start recently installed?
Possible cause can be a bad ignition switch or an open in the starter wire.
If there is a starter interrupt/anti-grind relay installed, it may have a bad connection or the relay is has gone bad.

All circuits should be verified with a digital multi-meter prior to making any connections.

Did you install it yourself or had a shop do it?
If a shop did it, have them troubleshoot it.
With the information thus far, I still suspect an open in the starter wire.

Did you install the remote start on your own?
How did you tap into the start wire in the ignition harness?
Did you cut the wire?
