What is the best Value In Dash, Double Din, touchscreen, cd-dvd, am-fm stereo receiver?
im looking to be able to retain steering wheel controls for both my
02 MDX and my 99 RL, connect my ipod, and attach a rear view camera.
As i understand it, there are 3 tiers of products, with the top tier being the highest quality and highest price, and the 3rd tier lowest quality and lowest price...
i was hoping to get recommendations for a head unit, from each tier.

Kenwood has an amazing line up of double din dvd systems and support steering wheel controls, (using a swi from pac-audio or an axxes piece.

clarion aslo has a decent line up and also have steering wheel conections

Alpine  is also good i personaly am using the alpine head unit great price for what u get and great i pod control.. but in all honesty go with the kenwood it has built in bluetooth and garmin nav . a little pricey but so many options

We carry Alpine and Clarion at our store and we sell Clarion 10 to 1 over Alpine. We've sold alot of NZ500 and VX400 units at the shop and they have been bullet proof. User interface is very good, NZ500 has great Bluetooth and NAV interface and all Clarion decks are steering wheel control ready with the PAC steering control interface ( single 3.5mm jack connection to the deck )
As far as the comment above, where did you get your information ? We deal with Dual ( when we have to ) from the Canadian distributor of the product and these two companies and their products are as different as Alpine is to Clarion. Can you post a link or point me to somewhere that you found this information and I will look into this myself, but if you only heard this from the grapevine then you got the wrong information.
