Hey everyone I am looking for a good 10 inch subwoofer that will give me good output while still retaining good sq. I am planning on a sealed box. I have two subwoofers in mind.. The HiVi Research sp10 and the Fi Q. What are the pros and cons of each, and what would be the better choice? Is there any other subwoofers that would meet my needs that I have overlooked? Just a side note, the subwoofer will be powered by a JBL bpx500.1

I'm using a ED e5.10 in a ported box. Its tuned to 30 hz. It has great SQ & goes real low.

I have a pair of very gently used (SO gently used, in fact, that they are almost like new, if a little dusty currently) TCSounds TC-1000 4-ohm DVC woofers that are fantastic SQ woofers. I am not using them any more, and might be willing to let them go for a decent price. Their power handling, at 300WRMS per, is RIGHT at the power you have, as well. Small box drivers, they'll still play quite low in a sealed enclosure.
Better than paying for new! :) If you want pics, let me know, and I'll email 'em to ya. Send me a PM with your request, if interested.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
