I will be installing an avistart 4113 remote start in our 99 alero. I have one wire that I'm not sure on it's connection. The wire is H 1/4  WHITE/ blue  (-) activation input. I'm not sure if I need to even hook this wire up on my vehicle, the instructions show it going to a momentary switch.  Any suggestions? Thanks

Nope, don't need it, however you can use it if you want push to start, so to speak, install a momentary button with one side to ground and the other side to the WHITE/ blue wire and when you press it for the programmed number of activation pulses the vehicle will start, kinda comes in handy sometimes like in the instance family goes in the vehicle to wait for you whilst your'e still dressing, they could just push the button start up and take in the a/c to keep cool until you come in the car and take over with the keys and drive off.
