Hello all. My dad bought a Sanyo NVM- 4370 just over a year ago. I wired in a backup camera for him (I talked him into getting one because the unit had a camera input). Well, the GPS unit has died for some unknown reason and it is out of warranty. I would like to get him another one because he really likes his toy. Any suggestions besides Sanyo?
Thanks
Jeff

I recommend the Garmin Nuvi 5000. You can still buy them refurbished.
You can buy a new Magellan (not sure of the model #) that also has a video input, I can't speak to it's video performance, but overall a Garmin would be superior GPS.
There are very few that accept a backup cam input, otherwise.
I sold my Garmin Nuvi 760 and got the 5000 for the cam capability.
The only downside is the 5000 takes longer to acquire satellites. I may a install an external pod antenna. I am using a Boyo VTL425 CCD plate cam, and the image is excellent.
