Hi all,

After a brief (well, not really) conversation (that may have bored him to tears) with Haemphyst, I am increasingly intrigued by the Audison Bit One. I have done the research, and am curious if anyone here has any experience with one. Good or bad. Also, I am having trouble finding the price of one of these pieces. I have emailed Audison to try and get a price and dealer information, but they have not responded. Over two weeks now.

The only information I can find online is that these go for around 500 Euros, which is about 700 US dollars. The one authorized dealer around here (St. Louis, MO) sells them for $999. Quite the profit margin.

Is there anyone on this forum that is or knows any authorized Audison dealers?

Thanks in advance everyone. Hope this doesn't violate any forum rules...

Jeff

Haha...shot tequila!...Well I did anyway. That is quite possibly the one link I never came across. You are something.

I also found this in my searches this evening. Is this something you think could be a problem for me? I do not have a BMW. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I don't know how to change the hypertext (I believe that's the right term). There is info on the Bit One in there, even though the first post doesn't seem like it.

Thanks again!

J

What'd you come up with for locating one of these toys? Anything?

Just my 2 cents here and not trying to discredit the bit one or haem for that matter..... Have you checked out the jbl ms8 processor? I to have been doing my homework on processors and have read quite a few reviews comparing the 2 and it seems that the ms8 is more functional, user friendly and sounds amazing plus you can do 5.1 surround sound or a center channel setup for amazing sq . I just wanted to throw that out there because they both cost about the same amount and if you can get more bang for your buck then why short yourself?

No discredit taken! :) That's why people come here... To get ideas from others, and if you aren't deegz, then you certainly fall into the category of "others". :P
I hadn't ever even heard of the MS8, and I was only agreeing with the BitOne because it does everything (and a little bit more, even) that my Altos do. I assure you, I will be doing more research on it!
I might could even get deeper techs on it, seeing as I have a couple connects at Harmon...

That would be great if you could get more info or tech specs from harmon. On another forum there is a rep from harmon who helps trouble shoot some of the issues that people have with jbl stuff. There is alot of great reviews on the ms8 definately recomend checking it out.
