When you come to think of it, isn't this another "trick" every pro already knows about?
about 18 years ago we used to stick a tiny button cell on the end of the 12volt battery on Clifford G1/2/3 remotes.
Or connecting the ground lead first on everything except a jump start.
Or the LS Lexus we had a few months ago, 1 Key and the immobiliser wouldn't release. We disconnected the battery and shoved the leads together, problem solved.

Yes but you're still a baby, but extremely competent, also how many "old school" specialists on the Island, bet they all went to England or the US! One of my first mentors in 1973 was from the Carib, Simon de Souza, big black guy, was he good.
And yes you are most definitely a pro.
