Does anybody know what type of cable uses the remote control of a Soundstream BX-12 bass processor? I tried one from a hifonics remote and it didn't work! Thanks.

It's the standard telephone jack input, correct? Most bass-knobs are "specific" to the amps. Meaning that each telephone jack has 4 possible terminations inside of it, but they only use two. Different manufacturers terminate at different points inside of that jack. You will either need to get a Soundstream knob... or find out the correct pinning and re-terminate the connection on the end of the hifonics remote.

Yes; I tried Soundstream support and they sent my email to the parts department but I haven't heard from them yet.
